Ronnie Mobley, DMD
Dr. Mobley became the first dentist to open a practice in Oconee County when he launched Mobley Family Dentistry in 1977. Always in our hearts, Dr. Mobley's fun spirit and love of helping his huge family of patients smile continues to inspire us, every day.
Dr. Mobley graduated from Oconee County High School in 1966 and then went to Young Harris College to study science. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia in 1970, and achieved his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the Medical College of Georgia in 1974.
Dr. Mobley coached local athletic teams for over 20 years. He was a member of Hebron Christian Church, participated in the Civitan Civic Club, and was Vice President of the Warrior Club Booster organization for high school athletics. Dr. Rhonda Mobley joined him in practice in 2001, and in 2020, Dr. Alan Mobley also joined the practice.
Dr. Ronnie Mobley made it his goal to always provide excellent dental care by listening to his patients' needs, educating them in proper dental hygiene techniques, developing customized treatment plans, and building the best dental team in the South. He was married to Rita Acree Mobley over for 50 years and they have four children and ten grandchildren. In his spare time he loved hunting, fishing, and tending to the vegetables in his garden.
